Natixis Investment Managers has hired Melanie Robinson as global head of customer experience, and Gad Amar as international chief product officer.
Both roles are newly created and will see Robinson and Amar working closely with the firm’s distribution teams and affiliate managers to deliver on sustainability ambitions.
In her role, Robinson will have a dual reporting line to Joseph Pinto, head of distribution for Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Asia Pacific, and David Giunta, president and CEO, US distribution.
Prior to joining Natixis, Robinson worked at Medallia as head of professional services for Southern Europe, and American Express as a strategy director.
Meanwhile, Amar will join the firm later this month and report directly to Pinto. Prior to joining Natixis, he was deputy CEO, global head of business development at Edmond de Rothschild in Paris. He has also worked in other senior roles including as a regional head of family offices and distribution at BlackRock.
Pinto said: “The deep bench of knowledge and industry experience that Melanie and Gad bring to their respective roles, will help drive our strategic ambitions to become the most client-centric asset and wealth manager.
“Both appointments will help support clients and enhance the customer experience in a more sustainable manner.”
As part of its sustainability ambition, the company is aiming to have €600 billion of its AUM, equivalent to around 50% of the total, invested in the sustainable or impact investing category by 2024.
