Joe Sullivan-Bissett has joined M&G Investments’ fixed income division as an investment director, reporting to David Parsons, head of the fixed income specialist team.
With over a decade of industry experience, Joe is the lead investment specialist on M&G’s Global Macro strategies and Sterling credit funds, supporting teams across the UK and internationally. Joe joined from Amundi, where he was an investment specialist in global fixed income, and previously held roles at Insight Investment.

This appointment strengthens M&G’s growing team, with Riccardo Cumerlato also joining earlier this year from the restructuring team, bringing expertise in debt markets and fixed income to cover various credit strategies.
Parsons said: “Joe’s fixed income experience will be invaluable as we help clients navigate financial markets in the current macroeconomic backdrop. He joins at a time where we expect significant opportunities to materialise for our clients within bond markets as the rate cycle starts to move.”
