Investment business firm M&G plc has hired Paul Evans as an independent non-executive director, effective October 1, 2024.
Evans is a senior business leader with experience in financial services, particularly in life insurance. He spent 17 years at AXA in various senior roles, including group CEO of AXA’s global life, savings and health businesses, overseeing global asset management. Before AXA, he worked for 13 years at PwC as a chartered accountant.
M&G launches real estate debt fund
Paul also brings international experience in regulated risk management and governance frameworks. Over the past six years, he has served as a non-executive director for several companies. He currently chairs Allianz Holdings plc and serves as non-executive director and chair of the audit committee at Bupa.
At M&G plc, Paul will join the audit, risk and remuneration committees.
