Manulife Investment Management has promoted Talib Saifee to the role of portfolio manager on the emerging markets equities strategies.
He was previously senior investment analyst on the team and is now joining senior portfolio manager Philip Ehrmann as portfolio manager.
The firm has also appointed Bryony Deuchars as senior investment analyst to the strategies.
Deuchars, who brings over 20 years’ industry experience, joins from Mirabaud Asset Management where she was global emerging markets portfolio manager.
Prior to that she had a similar role at Aviva Investors, and also was a regional analyst at Schroders for ten years.
