Man GLG has launched a UK version of its high yield opportunities fund, originally launched as a Dublin-domiciled Ucits fund in January this year.
The fund, managed by Mike Scott, combines bottom-up fundamental credit selection with top-down thematic analysis.
“The asset class continues to offer investors pockets of value, and we expect to see further dispersion between companies as we move through the year, creating an attractive environment for bottom-up investors who are focused on individual credits,” Scott said.
The Man GLG High Yields Opportunities Fund is a “global unconstrained high yield strategy”, according to the London-based firm.
An active investment management firm, Man GLG runs $33.7 billion (€30 billion) in assets under management.
