Lyxor Asset Management’s former head of capital markets for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) has left and joined Vanguard in a similar role.
As Vanguard’s senior capital markets specialist for ETFs, Gregoire Blanc will be responsible for supporting the liquidity of Vanguard’s products so that they can trade at low cost.
Blanc had been at Lyxor since 2009 having joined the firm in the ETF broker/dealer sales team.
Reporting to Thomas Bartolacci, head of ETF capital markets, Europe, Blanc is the latest in a series of ETF hires at Vanguard since the start of the year, including Simone Rosti who became the firm’s first head of Italy.
