James Hambro & Partners is merging with Calkin Pattinson & Company to combine financial planning and discretionary portfolio management.
The group will trade under the James Hambro & Partners brand and will have in excess of £1 billion (€813 million) of assets under management, advice and administration.
James Hambro & Partners manages discretionary investment portfolios while Calkin Pattinson advises private clients and charities on financial planning issues.
Andy Steel will lead the combined James Hambro Group as chief executive.
