Legal & General Investment Management and German asset manager Gerd Kommer Invest have jointly launched an all-cap ETF.
The L&G Gerd Kommer Multifactor Equity Ucits ETF will invest in both developed and emerging markets, with the ability to invest in small, mid and large caps.
The new ETF is categorised as Article 8 under SFDR and based on the ‘world portfolio concept’ designed by Gerd Kommer, founder of the firm that shares his name.
This concept employs a rules-based approach based on economic theory and empirical analysis to minimise the influence of emotional reactions on investment decisions.
Listed on the Deutsche Borse Xetra on 21 June, the fund’s country weighting is made in line with GDP.
This is currently the only ETF in the Dach market that takes into account GDP in relation to country weighting.
LGIM is planning to make this strategy available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in the coming days.
