Financial services and asset management company Legal & General has appointed Lesley-Ann Morgan as global head of defined contribution ( DC) to drive the group’s DC strategy, commercial agenda and client growth for the business worldwide.
In the newly created role, Morgan will will report to Sarah Aitken, chief client officer, asset management. Jayesh Patel, head of UK DC distribution, will report to Morgan and continue to work alongside Paula Llewellyn, CEO of UK DC & workplace savings.
Bringing more than three decades of industry experience, Morgan has joined from Schroders, where she spent over a decade in senior leadership positions, most recently as global head of pensions and retirement. Her work there spanned global pension strategy, business development, product design and market engagement. Before Schroders, she spent 18 years at Towers Watson as an investment consultant and partner, advising DB and DC schemes.
