The real estate investing arm of UBS Asset Management has hired Jonathan Ufton, formerly of Curzon Advisers, as an asset manager in its UK property team.
Based in London, Ufton will oversee the asset management of real estate assets for the firm’s flagship UK property fund and mandates for international clients .
At Curzon Advisers, he was a portfolio manager working across UK and European property investments.
Ufton began his real estate career at DTZ as investment surveyor and fixed charge receiver, which involved valuation, acquisition and disposition of commercial property and the receivership of distressed real estate assets.
At UBS AM, he reports to Ben Clark, head of asset management for UK real estate.
