Janus Henderson Investors revealed today that after a forty-year tenure, John Bennett, director of European equities, will retire in Q3 2024.
Post-retirement, Bennett’s passion for Rangers Football Club will take centre stage as he dedicates himself to the club’s operations.
As part of their succession planning, Robert Schramm-Fuchs will lead the pan-European team’s large-cap long/short strategies and co-manage the European Focus Fund with Marc Schartz. Schramm-Fuchs has been with Janus Henderson since 2014, holding significant industry experience.
Furthermore, Tom O’Hara and Tom Lemaigre will manage the Pan-European team’s long-only strategies. O’Hara, co-manager of the Henderson European Focus Trust Plc (HEFT) alongside Bennett, will continue overseeing the investment relationship with HEFT’s board.
