Investor services group IQ-EQ has promoted regional CEO for UK and Ireland John Legrand (pictured) to the role of deputy group CEO.
Legrand joined IQ-EQ in 2020 from BlackRock where he was managing director for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.
In addition, Richard Surrency has been named as group chief commercial officer (CCO).
He joins from Aviva Investors where he was chief executive for its APAC business, based in Singapore.
Surrency replaces Emma Crabtree, the previous CCO, who joined the firm in 2022 from BNP Paribas Securities Services.
The appointments were welcomed by group CEO Mark Pesco. “We have a bright and exciting future ahead and in both John and Richard, we have the people and industry expertise to help us deliver it,” he said.
