Investec Bank plc, the banking subsidiary of Investec plc., has appointed Michael Miller to grow its private credit management ( PCM) team.
European private credit manager Investec Direct Lending’s creation of the PCM team marks the next stage in the growth of Investec’s proposition to borrowers of private debt.
Securities lending revenues up over one year
Under Miller’s leadership, the team will manage credit and risk oversight for Investec’s Direct Lending book and seek revenue opportunities by supporting clients throughout their growth lifecycle. He will collaborate with Callum Bell, Investec’s head of direct lending, to expand the firm’s direct lending business in the UK and Europe.
With over 20 years of financial services experience, Miller previously held roles at HSBC in M&A, loan markets and portfolio management.
