Asset manager Invesco has appointed Joe Bello as UK head of ETF asset managers.
Reporting to Kate Dwyer, head of UK distribution at Invesco, Bello will lead the distribution strategy for Invesco’s ETF business targeting UK multi-asset investment businesses.
Bello, with over 20 years of global distribution and research expertise, has joined Invesco from BlackRock’s iShares. At iShares, he led the sales team for ETFs and indexed investments, focusing on UK asset managers. Bello managed relationships with 50 major global and regional asset management firms, focusing on multi-asset and sustainable investment teams in London.
Before joining iShares, Joe specialised in European Telco & Media research in the specialist sales team at Nomura International in London. He began his career at UBS Wealth Management in New York and later served as a mutual fund consultant for Goldman Sachs Asset Management in Chicago.
Dwyer commented: “Our ETF business is one of our leading strategic growth drivers and asset managers with sophisticated and evolving needs are an important client group for that business, necessitating growth in our relationships in this area.”
