Camradata, the data analysis firm that until recently owned Funds Europe, has been sold to With Intelligence, an investment intelligence platform. Punter Southall Aspire, which owned and sold Camradata, retains ownership of Funds Europe.
Sean Thompson, managing director at Camradata, said that Camradata and With Intelligence are “very complementary, bringing tremendous decision-making power to institutional clients across traditional and private markets”.
Charlie Kerr, founder and CEO of With Intelligence, said the acquisition of Camradata will deliver enhanced “market knowledge and data sources” for clients.
He added: “With Intelligence’s offering has expanded over recent years through acquisitions that complement and enrich our services and increase our value. Camradata is the latest addition in this journey, and we look forward to integrating it into our product range to deliver even richer market knowledge and data sources for our users.”
Nick Fitzpatrick, editor and co-publisher of Funds Europe, said: “We have loved working with our former colleagues at Camradata and are very sorry to see them go. But we know they are looking forward to this great opportunity.”
Camradata was founded in 2003 by Steve Butler, CEO Punter Southall Aspire. Camradata acquired Funds Europe in 2017.
