Financial institution ING has appointed Alex Andreichuk as head of new energy technologies, a newly created role within the capital markets and advisory division.
Based in the UK, Andreichuk will lead efforts to originate and execute corporate finance transactions across the energy, infrastructure, and sustainable technology sectors. His focus will include areas such as carbon capture, energy storage, EV mobility, clean fuels, and industrial decarbonisation.
Alex brings experience from his career in energy transition projects and corporate finance, having worked at Fidelis New Energy across Europe and North America. His previous roles include advising energy clients as an M&A banker with Credit Suisse, Perella Weinberg Partners, Tudor Pickering Holt, and Santander. Alex began his career as an army officer in the US Army Corps of Engineers and later worked as a structural engineer in New York City, contributing to projects in Hong Kong as a Luce Scholar.

In his new role, Alex will report to Sahyoun and collaborate closely with ING’s global Corporate Finance teams, including the energy M&A team led by Fahd Aijaz. He will also work with the debt & capital advisory energy teams across London, Amsterdam, and New York.
