His previous roles include advising energy clients as an M&A banker with Credit Suisse, Perella Weinberg Partners, Tudor Pickering Holt, and Santander. Alex began his career as an army officer in the US Army Corps of Engineers and later worked as a structural engineer in New York City, contributing to projects in Hong Kong as a Luce Scholar.

Rabeé Sahyoun, head of capital markets and advisory UK, ING, said: “Alex’s appointment is an important step towards bolstering our expertise and delivering sustainable solutions for our clients. This is part of our strategic plan to expand our corporate finance capabilities as we move towards our broader ambition of ING being the best European Wholesale Bank.”
Andreichuk added: “I am thrilled to be starting the position of head of new energy technologies at ING. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead ING’s initiatives in the continuing energy transition.”
In his new role, Alex will report to Sahyoun and collaborate closely with ING’s global Corporate Finance teams, including the energy M&A team led by Fahd Aijaz. He will also work with the debt & capital advisory energy teams across London, Amsterdam, and New York.
