HSBC Securities Services has appointed Steven Caluwaerts as director within its global distribution and transfer agency (TA) business in Luxembourg.
Caluwaerts joins from Citi, where he was European transfer agency product head.
He has 20 years’ experience working in the European fund administration business, which includes other roles at Citi where Caluwaerts was variously funds chief administrative officer and European fund accounting product head.
Caluwaerts will report to Nick Maton, head of securities services in Luxembourg, and Sooraj Streenivasan , global head of distribution and TA.
Streenivasan said HSBC Securities Services has ambitious growth targets in Europe and Luxembourg.
