HSBC Asset Management has appointed Dan Rudd as CEO of HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd and head of UK Wholesale, subject to regulatory approval.
In his new dual role, Rudd will oversee the strategic development of the UK business and lead the firm’s UK wholesale sales team.
Rudd brings more than 30 years of experience in the asset management industry. He joined HSBC Asset Management in 2005 and has held several senior positions, most recently as head of wholesale, Northern Europe.
Corruption investigations closed against Quantum Global
During his time at the asset manager, Rudd has contributed to the growth of the firm’s wholesale presence in the UK, Northern Europe and the Middle East.
He will continue to be based in London and will report to Thorsten Michalik, CEO for Europe, UK and Americas.
