European ETF provider HANetf has expanded its Nordic sales team with the hire of Patrik Engström as Nordic sales manager.
Patrik, who previously worked at Rize ETF, now ARK Invest Europe, as associate director of European business development, brings a experience to his new role, which includes broadening HANetf’s distribution network in the Nordic region.
Patrik will work alongside Nordic sales manager Tom Sleep to support the firm’s growth in the region. He said: “I’ve heard good things about the company culture at HANetf, and I’m glad to be a part of this great team. I’m particularly excited about the innovative product range, including the CO2 commodity ETC ( exchange traded commodity), which allows investors to access EU carbon allowances and make an impact.”
The debut edition of Funds Europe’s Carbon Impact Research Report 2024 sheds light on the key trends shaping decarbonisation projects, carbon footprints, sustainable fund allocations, and the responsible investment strategies adopted by European asset management firms. HANetf has also strengthened its broader team with the appointment of Harrison Sands as financial planning and analysis manager. He joins from BDO, where he specialised in financial modelling for UK and international projects.
The firm has also expanded its UK sales team with the hire of Riria Kivindyo as junior sales executive. Riria will work under Robert Dickson, head of UK, Ireland, and Channel Island Sales, supporting HANetf’s growing client base in these regions.
Hector McNeil, co-founder and Co-CEO of HANetf, commented: “At HANetf, we are committed to offering distribution capabilities across Europe, and the expansion of our Nordic sales team demonstrates this. Patrik will help us grow our footprint in the Nordic regions, and his experience will be extremely valuable.”
