Alternative asset manager Gresham House plc appointed Chris Coulton, Jane O’Connor and Vanessa Owen within its sustainable infrastructure strategy managing the British Sustainable Infrastructure Funds (BSIF) and their connected sidecars.
Coulton joined as the director and deputy head of portfolio within sustainable infrastructure, having previously worked as a portfolio director at LDC Private Equity and as a director at Deloitte within the mid-market corporate advisory business.
O’Connor joined as an investment analyst. Before joining Gresham House, Jane was an investment analyst for the renewable energy funds at Temporis Capital, focusing on investing in solar, wind and battery storage assets.
Owen, who joined the company as a portfolio analyst, previously worked at Secretariat as a forensic accountant specialising in valuations.
According to the asset manager, the BSIF strategy seeks to create a positive societal and environmental impact in the UK through investments in digital connectivity, job creation, ecological benefits and other areas. Comprising two closed-ended funds and five locally focused co-invest funds, BSIF focuses on mid-market investments offering the strongest impact investment opportunities.
Highlighting the company’s goal of accomplishing “inclusive employment policies”, Peter Bachmann, MD of sustainable infrastructure at Gresham House, said: “Working across BSIF’s six subsectors, these exceptional individuals will help further build out the portfolio management and resources we can provide to support the growth of our twelve portfolio companies and the successful BSIF platform overall.”
