Generali Investments, part of the Generali Group, has appointed Ole Jorgensen as chief AI officer.
Jorgensen will oversee the rollout of AI capabilities across the firm’s multi-affiliate asset management business and lead the development of a unified AI strategy, focusing on productivity initiatives while maintaining risk management and governance standards.
He previously spent 12 years as director of research at Global Evolution Asset Management, a Generali Investments affiliate, where he led the integration of AI techniques into the investment process. He has also held senior roles at the World Bank and chaired the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment advisory committee on ESG in credit ratings.
