California-based asset manager Franklin Templeton has appointed Vincenzo Sagone as a senior ETF sales officer for Italy.
Reporting to Caroline Baron, head of ETF distribution for Emea, Sagone will be based in Milan.
In the role, he will lead ETF distribution efforts in Italy supporting business development efforts for Franklin Templeton’s Ucits ETF2 platform – Franklin Templeton ICAV.
Baron said: “With over 20 years of experience in financial services, he will further strengthen the development of our ETF business with local wholesale and institutional investors in Italy.”
Sagone has over two decades of experience in international financial services, with 12 years spent at Amundi in Italy as head of ETF, indexing and smart beta.
