Harriet Ssentongo has joined Franklin Templeton in a senior ETF sales role for the UK, Channel Islands and Irish markets – a newly created position following the US firm’s entry into the European ETF market three years ago.
Ssentongo was previously a director for Benelux and UK sales at HANetf, and prior to that was with another ETF provider, WisdomTree.
Franklin Templeton launched its first European ETFs in 2017 and markets them under the LibertyShares brand.
The firm’s global ETF platform hosts over 90 ETFs, including active and smart beta, and has around $10 billion in assets under management.
Based in London, Ssentongo reports to Caroline Baron, regional head of ETF sales.
