Broadridge Financial Solutions has extended its global sales capability with the appointment of Manuel Baptista as head of international investor communications and sales.
The newly-created position reflects the company’s ambitions to promote its investor communications services to a wider client base across issuers and institutional investors, custodians and other financial intermediaries.
Based in Belgium, the appointment is one of a number of steps that the company is taking to meet growing client demand.
Baptista joins Broadridge from Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), a major competitor to Broadridge in the investor communications area, where he was head of ISS’ global proxy distribution.
In his new role, he reports to Bob Santangelo, president of international sales.
