Peter Brackett, formerly head of global consultant relations at Amundi, has joined State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) to cover the UK consultant market.
He joins the firm as UK head of consultant relations and will cover pension funds, both defined benefit and defined contribution.
Prior to Amundi, Brackett was responsible for building the UK institutional business for American Century Investments. He is also previously co-head of global consultant relations at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
Brackett has himself been an investment consultant, having held roles at Aon Investments and Towers Watson.
Mike Karpik, head of Europe, Middle East & Africa at SSGA, said the firm placed “high value” on the consultant community.
