Investment manager Federated Hermes has appointed Lisa Ravlo as private markets director for the Nordic region in a bid to boost its private markets sales team.
Based in Oslo, Norway, Ravlo will collaborate with the Nordics team, reporting to Jakob Nilsson, head of private market sales, ex-North America.
With experience from Barclays Investment Bank in London and Paris, Ravlo’s role is crucial in expanding the distribution of Private Markets products in the Nordic region, shared the asset manager.
Before joining Federated Hermes, Ravlo worked for Barclays Investment Bank in London and Paris and holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
Ravlo commented: “With deep institutional pools of capital, the Nordic region is an important and growing market for Federated Hermes across several investment strategies.”
Nilsson added: “We are starting the year in a strong position, as we continue to apply our deep understanding of our clients’ needs to connect them with differentiated strategies and investment opportunities across all of our private markets asset classes.”
This announcement aligns with the firm’s recent appointment of Dr Stefan Arneth as sales director – private markets in Munich, Germany.
