F&C Investments, a part of BMO Global Asset Management, has appointed David Walker to a newly created role as investment director, F&C private equity funds.
Walker has over 20 years of private equity experience, and joins the firm from the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg, where he was head of infrastructure funds. He has also previously worked as deputy head of equity funds at the European Investment Fund (EIF).
In his new position, Walker will be based in Edinburgh and will report to the head of the F&C private equity funds team, Hamish Mair. He will cover European funds, co-investments and renewables investments.
Mair comments that Walker’s experience in infrastructure and renewables will complement the existing skills of F&C’s private equity funds team.
