F&C Investments, part of BMO Global Asset Management, has expanded its continental European Distribution team with the appointments of Robert Elfström (pictured), Frank Steffen and Carolin Töpfer.
The hires are all newly created roles, which aim to provide additional expertise and support to F&C’s growth ambitions across Europe.
Elfström joins F&C as director Nordic region, where he will be managing both new and existing wholesale and institutional client relationships. He will be based in London initially, before relocating to Stockholm.
Previously at Franklin Templeton Investments, Elfstrom held the role of sales director for the Nordic region, and was responsible for developing products aimed at discretionary and wholesale clients in the Nordics.
Steffen joins F&C as a senior sales director in the wholesale distribution team, based in Munich. He previously worked at BlackRock Investment Management in Germany where he was a sales director for wholesale and strategic clients. He has also held roles at ING, Citibank and Deutsche Bank.
Töpfer joins F&C as sales support, based in Munich. She will assist across the European wholesale team.
Munich-based Georg Kyd-Rebenburg, head of European wholesale distribution, says: “We are excited to be expanding the European teams further. These appointments will enable us to continue to grow our distribution platform and coverage across Continental Europe.”
