Rob Branch, head of proposition, FinTech Labs, Ernst & Young LLP, will join the session ‘Investment Association Panel: Navigating Regulation in a Web3 World’ at FundsTech Forum 2025 to be held on April 29 in London.
Panellists in this session ( see full FundsTech Forum 2025 agenda here) will explore how evolving regulatory frameworks are supporting — or hindering — digital innovation in asset management. The discussion will cover initiatives like regulatory sandboxes, their real-world impact and the policy developments that could shape the future of the industry as Web3 technologies mature.
Rob leads proposition and commercial development at EY’s FinTech Labs, working hand-in-hand with leading financial services firms and some of the most innovative fintechs to drive new product development, shape go-to-market strategies, and build partnerships that meet fast-evolving client and market needs. With over 15 years of experience across both industry and consulting in the wealth and asset management space, Rob has helped deliver a wide range of transformation programmes — from navigating complex regulatory change to launching cutting-edge products. He’s passionate about how digital and emerging technologies can be harnessed to create better outcomes for clients and improve how the market serves them.
Beyond his role at EY, Rob is also dedicated to global impact initiatives, including mentoring an entrepreneur in Africa working on projects aligned with the UN Convention to Combat Desertification — a cause close to his heart.
