Evelyn Partners, a UK wealth management and investment firm, has appointed Kate Morrissey as head of asset allocation. as a part of its strategy to enhance its investment management capabilities. Morrissey will report to Edward Park, chief asset management officer.
Morrissey has joined Evelyn Partners after a 23-year career at HSBC, where she held senior roles in HSBC Global Asset Management. Most recently, she served as head of world selection and global strategy funds, managing flagship portfolios across fund ranges.
In her new role, Morrissey will lead Evelyn Partners’ macro-economic and quantitative strategy teams, developing and delivering tactical asset allocation recommendations to the Tactical Asset Allocation Group (TAAG). She will also work across the central investment team to build consensus on investment decisions and optimize strategies for a range of client portfolios.

She will also play a key role in articulating Evelyn Partners’ asset allocation house view to internal and external stakeholders. This involves hiring a team of investment specialists to support the communication and execution of the firm’s central investment process and product offerings.
