EquiLend has seen a 16% growth in the number of borrowing and lending transactions on its platform since the start of the year.
It also launched a fixed income and repo trading and post trade services platform, BondLend, a couple of months ago.
The global platform offers a full suite of automated trading and post-trade securities financing solutions and facilitates 28,000 transactions in a single day – valued at $21.3 billion (€15.8 billion).
In February EquiLend launched in Asia and opened an operation in Hong Kong.
