Emergent Asset Management has implemented Tradar’s flagship portfolio management and accounting product, Insight, which will allow the firm to take complete control of the order management process.
In addition, Insight aims to provide seamless operational workflow and custom reporting capabilities. The system will initially be used for Emergent’s FX managed funds but can be rolled out to other funds that Emergent manages and administers. The solution supports more than 140 asset classes and was built with scalability in mind.
Kevin Nealis, COO of Emergent said: “We recognised that we had reached a point where an automated system would improve decision making and operational efficiencies through real time performance data and integrated workflows. The partnership with Tradar will provide us with a seamless trade capture and reconciliation tool.”
Emergent’s front office traders will now benefit from the live P&L delivered by Insight, helping to underpin their investment decisions. In the middle office, the focus will be on P&L reporting, and the integration with the downstream processes.
