DWS has appointed Samantha Alexander as the new UK country officer.
In this role, she will oversee the UK operations, contributing to DWS’s corporate strategy and managing governance, regulatory interactions, and key industry relationships. Samantha will also join the DWS Emea Leadership Council.
As UK country officer, Samantha will be responsible for oversight of the UK and its contribution to DWS’s overall corporate strategy and working with multiple stakeholders including managing governance and interactions with regulators, and DWS’s relationship with key industry associations.

Having joined Deutsche Bank in 2011, Samantha has held various leadership roles, including COO for the UK at DWS. She is a strong advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) in the financial services industry.
Samantha said: “The UK showcases the diverse talent that DWS has across all investment capabilities and business lines and is an important location for DWS, not only as a significant pool of talent but also as one of the largest capital markets globally.
