Deutsche Asset Management has hired Michele Gaffo global head of insurance coverage.
He will join the company in February and will be based in Frankfurt.
In the newly-created role, Gaffo will be responsible for the firm’s insurance coverage business globally, as the asset manager aims to participate in the growing trend in the insurance industry of outsourcing via its active, passive and alternative products and solutions.
Gaffo joins from Italy’s PosteVita Insurance Group, where he was chief investment officer.
