Legg Mason’s former Nordics head has joined corporate bond specialist Muzinich & Co.
Peter Andersson joins the New York-based firm as head of Nordics, working from London on both institutional and wholesale business.
He was at Legg Mason for ten years, most recently as head of Nordics and new markets in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
He claimed Muzinich’s background in public and private debt meant the firm was “ideally placed to work with Nordic clients and provide sophisticated partnership solutions”.
Earlier this year, Muzinich appointed Archie Beeching to the newly created role of director of responsible investing. He joined from the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment.
A further appointment earlier this year was Tom Douie, formerly head of intermediary including Europe and Latin America, who became Muzinich’s global head of distribution based in London.
