Funds services software firm Confluence has reached an agreement to acquire Fundpeak, a provider of fund portals and multilingual factsheets.
Confluence will integrate Fundpeak’s functions into its existing platform.
According to Confluence, the acquisition will broaden its offering and has been driven by increased complexity of investor reporting facing fund managers.
In addition to the demand for more digital data and analytics from end-investors, there is also regulatory reporting from the likes of the EU’s Key Investor Information Documents (Kiid) and Packaged Retail Investment and Insurance-based Products (Priips) requirements, both of which are covered by Fundpeak’s platform.
The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021. No financial details were disclosed.
