US-based asset manager Columbia Threadneedle Investments is to give clients of UBS Global Wealth Management exclusive access for the first three months to a new fund focussed on Japanese equities.
The fund will be managed by Daisuke Nomoto, Columbia Threadneedle’s global head of Japanese equities.
The strategy aims to generate alpha from stock selection across the whole market cap spectrum.
Nomoto has 30 years’ experience and leads a team of five portfolio managers with an average of 20 years of investment experience.
