London-based private markets secondaries specialist Coller Capital has opened its first office in Switzerland as the firm moves to expand its global private wealth secondaries business outside the US.
The new Zurich office will be led by Boris Maeder who has been appointed as managing director and head of international private wealth distribution.
Coller says the new office will allow it to meet increasing demand for institutional quality secondaries investments from private wealth investors.
Maeder joins from UBS Wealth Management where he led the firm’s global private markets distribution for the past eight years.
