Asset manager Carmignac has named Edouard Boscher as its head of private equity to supervise and coordinate its private equity operations.
This move follows a string of private equity initiatives by Carmignac, reflecting its perspective on the allure of alternatives as investment prospects across various market phases.
Among these initiatives was the firm’s backing of Cap10 Partners in 2021, a pan-European private equity firm centred on mid-sized European businesses.
Carmignac also recently formed a strategic alliance with Clipway, a newcomer in the private equity world focusing on secondaries.
Edouard Boscher, with over 20 years of private equity experience, is stationed in Paris and will report to Maxime Carmignac. His extensive career includes pivotal roles at AXA IM and a prominent position at Ardian. At Ardian, he played a crucial part as the managing director of the investor relations department.
