US-based Capital Group has appointed BlackRock’s Alexandra Haggard to the new role of head of product and investment services for Europe and Asia.
Based in London, Haggard will oversee the firm’s expansion strategy in both regions. She will lead a team developing products across the firm’s equity, bonds, and multi-asset funds.
At BlackRock she was the global head of equity product and the regional head of strategic pricing. Prior to this role she was chef executive of UK consultant Stamford Associates.
She is also a founding member of the Diversity Project and a Member of the CFA UK’s Advisory Council.
In this new role, Haggard reports to Guy Henriques, head of Europe and Asia client group at Capital.
