Capital Group will expand its UK institutional business team as part of a long-term strategy to provide more support to its institutional client base in the UK.
The expansion will ensure that Capital Group’s domestic and international consultants are fully supported in their activities across the UK.
Max Watson has been appointed as managing director of consultant relations as Capital brings on board new talent. He will be key in developing and strengthening Capital Group’s relationships with institutional consultants in the UK.
Watson has 11 years of experience in the investment management industry with previous positions at Neuberger Berman, where he was vice president for EMEA Consultant Relations and relationship manager for the firm’s UK intermediary client group, as well as at Alcentra and Payden & Rygel.
