Capital Group has launched one of its US multi-asset income funds from Luxembourg, targeting European and Asian investors.
The Capital Group Capital Income Builder follows the same approach as its multi-asset income strategy that has been running for over 30 years in the US and has over $100 billion under management.
The fund focuses on dividend stocks rather than lower quality fixed income investments, which the firm said could lead to a more durable return profile for investors in US dollars.
Hamish Forsyth, Capital’s European president, said there was growing demand in Europe for multi-asset products.
Christophe Braun, investment director at the firm, added: “In today’s low-yield environment, many investors are looking for more balanced products that can provide a reliable income stream, without excessive exposure to volatility.”
