Nick Shaw has joined Capital Group to lead the large asset manager’s distribution to global financial institutions.
Shaw joins from Robeco where he had a similar role as head of the Dutch asset manager’s global financial institutions business.
At Capital he reports to Grant Leon, a managing director who covers financial intermediaries in Europe and Asia.
Leon said that Shaw had worked with some of the largest cross-border distributors in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Shaw has also worked for Aberdeen Asset Management in various international distribution roles, including leading Aberdeen’s Swiss business out of Zurich, where he also had responsibility for broader pan-European financial intermediary distribution.
Capital Group, which has $1.8 trillion (€1.5 trillion) in assets under management and employs over 500 associates in Europe.
