Brussels-based asset manager Candriam has promoted Derek Brander to the post of head of UK distribution.
Brander, who will be based in London and previously worked as Candriam’s UK wholesale director, has almost 20 years of experience in the asset management business.
In his new post, he replaces Chris Davies who has moved to Russell Investments as head of UK distribution.
Prior to joining Candriam in 2016, Brander was director of UK wholesale at Natixis and has also worked as a sales manager at GLG Partners, SGAM, Aegon and First State Investments.
Candriam managed about €121 billion of assets under management as of the end of September.
