French asset servicer BNP Paribas Securities Services has named Pater Herrlin as its global head of hedge fund services.
Based in London, Herrlin will oversee the firm’s hedge fund services client line and client delivery global teams.
He reports to Patrick Hayes, global head of alternatives investors, securities services, and locally to Julien Kasparian, regional head for the UK and Middle East, securities services.
Herrlin was most recently at Northern Trust, where he was EMEA head of client solutions. He has also worked in hedge fund teams at Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) and Danske Bank.
“[Herrlin] will play an instrumental role in driving the next phase of our business growth in the hedge fund segment,” said Hayes.
