The indices are divided into two main series: the Aggregate Series and Focus Series. The Aggregate Series offers exposure to a wider thematic landscape, while the Focus Series hones in on companies with substantial thematic relevance, measured by revenue and theme alignment scores from Bloomberg Intelligence. To further tailor the indices to investment goals, both modified market capitalisation weighted and equal weighted options are available, with variations including total return, price return, and net total return versions.
All companies included in these thematic indices are drawn from the Bloomberg World Aggregate parent index, ensuring a diversified and global perspective. The indices undergo quarterly reconstitution and rebalancing, guided by Bloomberg Indices’ transparent, rules-based methodology. This quarterly review ensures that the indices remain relevant, reflecting current market dynamics and advancements across key themes.
