Baillie Gifford, the investment management firm, has announced the retirement of its long-serving managing partner, Andrew Telfer, after almost 33 years with the firm, including 13 as a managing partner and CEO.
His successor will be Tim Campbell, who has been with the firm for 25 years and a partner for 12.
Last week, the firm shared that Telfer, who has been with the company for over three decades, has played a significant role in shaping Baillie Gifford’s global strategy and growth. His departure marks the end of an era for the firm, which he joined in 1989 and has been a managing partner since 2013.
