Axyon AI, a fintech provider of artificial intelligence to the European asset management industry has appointed Nicholas Greenland as senior vice president, business development.
Based in the UK, Nicholas has joined the executive team to deliver on the company’s global growth ambition and will work closely with the rest of the senior leadership team and co-founders.
He is a financial markets professional with over 20 years of experience, spanning both the buy and sell sides. Throughout his career, he has held senior global roles at institutions such as BNY Investments, Credit Suisse, and RBS.

Nicholas previously chaired the Investment Association’s FX Committee, where he led market structure reforms in alignment with the FX Code of Conduct. In addition, he has collaborated with CIOs and external experts, offering strategic advice, governance, and oversight in his capacity as a board member.
He said: “While AI and machine learning are reshaping the investment landscape, markets are incredibly complex and demand a specialised AI approach. I am looking forward to working with the team to take Axyon AI to the next level and enabling many more asset managers globally to benefit from the competitive advantage we can offer them.”
