Manchester-based investment manager Arrow Global Group has appointed Enrico Bertagna as CEO of Arrow MGA Solutions, a division of Arrow Global Insurance (“AGI”).
Arrow MGA Solutions focuses on developing and overseeing the group’s MGA partnerships. The division will support AGI’s strategy of building specialist, non-catastrophe insurance capabilities in markets where underwriting expertise, structuring and disciplined capital management are critical.
AGI is part of Arrow’s pan-European investment platform, bringing together origination, underwriting and investment to create a scalable and capital-efficient opportunity for investors.
The platform focuses on specialist, non-catastrophe insurance lines, including after-the-event insurance, contingent and transactional risks, credit risks and surety products, in markets that are often underserved by traditional insurers. A
Bertagna brings more than 30 years of experience in the European and global property and casualty insurance industry. He joins from Howden, where he was Managing Director of Bowood Europe, the group’s specialist binding authority and MGA division.
He previously led Zurich’s global MGA strategy, including as Global Head of MGA Solutions at Zurich Global Ventures and Global Head of the MGA Network. Earlier in his career, he spent more than two decades at Lloyd’s in senior European and international market development roles. He also held senior business development roles at Allied World.
