Paris-based Comgest, the international asset management group, has appointed Arnaud Cosserat as chief investment officer (CIO).
He will take over the position from Vincent Strauss, who remains chief executive officer (CEO) of the firm. Cosserat will also continue in his role as portfolio manager within the European and global equity teams.
Cosserat, who joined Comgest in 1996 as a portfolio manager covering European equities, has gained experience over the past two years in the position of deputy CIO. In the role he has overseen the implementation of Comgest’s quality growth strategy across all portfolios managed by the investment team, covering a global range of equity markets.

Comgest manages client assets of more than €18 billion, as of December 31, 2014.
